Phelps has a major focus on taking emergency training to the community. Our goal is to provide the training that you want at a time and place convenient to you. We an present our programs at your site or at Phelps' modern, convenient campus located within 30 minutes of Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties, New York City, and Southwestern Connecticut. While we custom-design programs for each customer, some recent programs that we’ve taught include CPR + Defibrillation training for General Electric, Defibrillator + First Aid training for the Ossining Town Police, Psychiatric Emergencies for the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department, and automatic adrenaline injector (epi-pen) allergic emergency training for several area Day Camps. CPR/AED training is especially important for corporate customers, since most community ambulance providers can’t arrive within 10 minutes of the patient’s collapse, which is the time frame necessary to prevent brain damage or death. Survival rates decline about 10% every minute, so time counts! The federal government now requires a defibrillator in every federal office building and every commercial airplane, and many Fortune 500 corporations have begin making the investment to ensure that a defibrillator be on hand in the case of cardiac arrest. and physician-directed quality assurance. If you have an emergency,
we provide new equipment within one business day, and follow up with
the emergency department to ensure that everything went OK. We then
get back to you and your employee to let you know the outcome. We can
do the same for your organization. We can assess your needs, provide
the training and all equipment, and we’ll be there to answer
